I started reading the Harry Potter series about three weeks ago and it's become an obsession. Last night I was up until 5:30 A.M. reading Book 5, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and would have finished the book in two more hours except that the light kept waking Erik up from his slumber and he finally protested. So I had to wait until today to finish it. Now I only have one more book to go. I can't wait to finish reading it so that I can move on with the rest of my life.

Last week I was in Las Vegas supposedly to help Du with his booth at a convention, but ended just hanging out with my niece and nephew, Kate and James, instead. The weather was surprisingly nice. Erik and I got to see our first Vegas show at the new Wynn Casino called La Reve. Our last night in Vegas we got to ride in limos and dine at Shintaro in Bellagio in our own private room with a balcony view of the water show where we could actually feel the mist. The food was excellent. I loved my Chillean sea bass and green tea creme brulee. All thanks to a certain high roller friend.
